We may collect your interests or hobbies via your user activity when you interact with us or our Service so that we can understand you better and provide better services to you. Certain information may be required to register or use some of our features.

    For Personal Data you provide to us via MyMilan by Milanity app with your affirmative consent in your operation system of your mobile device, we list them below so that you can learn the details.

    Identifiers

    This includes Personal Data such as Email, user name, password, UID and device information. This also includes other information that potentially could be used to identify you, such as the names and images that you associate with account users, your locations, devices, scenes, device configuration details, demographic information.

    Location

    The MyMilan app by Milanity requires your exact location when marking attendance to prevent proxy attendance. Both precise location and approximate location will work for schedules you set, if any. MyMilan by Milanity app also use this location to ensure the app functionality such as device time, weather service and location ordering.

    Photos and videos

    Milanity will request permission to access your photos and videos solely for the purpose of uploading photos for your profile avatar or documents across services such as invoice, gallery image, documents, etc.,

    Notification

    To enhance your experience, we may request access to device push notifications, providing timely updates and alerts.

    Audio

    To enable high-quality SIP video calls, we may request access to your microphone.

    Camera

    To enhance your experience, we may request access to your device's camera for various purposes, including capturing images for profile avatars, uploading documents, and scanning QR codes.

    Calendar

    To synchronize club events and official meetings seamlessly, we may request access to your device's calendar.

    Contacts

    To streamline meeting invitations and sharing add-ons, we may request access to your device's contacts.

    Device IDs

    To provide personalized information and push notifications, we may request access to your device's unique identification (Device IDs).

  2. Usage Data

    We may also collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit our service or when you access the service by or through a mobile device.

    This Usage Data may include information such as your computer's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address), browser type, browser version, the pages of our service that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.

    When you access the service by or through a mobile device, this Usage Data may include information such as the type of mobile device you use, the IP address of your mobile device, your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browser you use, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.

  3. Security of Data

    Milanity has implemented technology and security features to safeguard the privacy of your personal information. A secure server protects your personal information. Additionally, with Milanity you can be assured that the information you provide to Milanity is transmitted using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption. If you become aware of any security breach, please let us know as soon as possible.

    We have internal procedures in place requiring our employees and data processors to respect the confidentiality of any personal or commercial information held by Milanity. We restrict access to customers' personal and commercial information to Milanity employees, contractors and agents who need to know that information in order to process it in connection with the Service, and who are subject to strict contractual confidentiality obligations and may be disciplined or terminated if they fail to meet these obligations.

    Milanity will endeavor to take all reasonable steps to keep secure any information that we store about you. Your information is stored on secure servers that are protected in controlled facilities. Milanity will not be held responsible for events arising from third parties gaining unauthorized access to your personal information, or people with access exceeding their authority.

    Please note also that Milanity may use overseas facilities to process or back up its information. As a result, we may transfer and store your personal information in such overseas facilities. However, this does not change any of Our commitments to safeguard Your privacy.

  4. Secure Product Build

    All information security and data security protocols are incorporated in every release cycle and is a part of the blueprint considerations of all products.

    Product roadmap is well defined by the Product Owner in all phases of development. Security patches are given top priority and are bundled in the earliest possible rollout. All product builds are put through stringent functionality tests, performance tests, stability tests, and UX tests.

    We follow blue-green deployment strategy for deployment of changes to production environment that allows us to deploy upgrades in a seamless manner.

  5. Tracking & Cookies Data

    We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track the activity on our service and hold certain information. Cookies are sent to your browser from a website and stored on your device.

    Tracking technologies also used are beacons, tags, and scripts to collect and track information and to improve and analyze our service.

    Milanity uses the collected data for various purposes

    • To provide and maintain the service.
    • To notify you about changes to our service.
    • To allow you to participate in interactive features of our service when you choose to do so.
    • To provide customer care and support.
    • To provide analysis or valuable information so that we can improve the service.

  9. Data Backup

    We run incremental backups every day and full back up once a week. Backup data is stored in the same location and are encrypted at rest, same as the original data. We additionally restore and validate backups every week. All backed up data is retained only for three months.

    If a customer requests for data recovery within the given retention period, we will restore their data from the backup and make it available to them.

  10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

    We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on our web page.

    We will let you know via email and/or a prominent notice on our service, prior to the change becoming effective and update the "effective date" at the top of this Privacy Policy.

    You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
